Wolfgang Schorlau, presents in his criminal novels another version of facts and fiction. While Goethe presented in his Poetry and Truth (1811–1833) his life, Schorlau writes in his crime novels about there life of society. However, it is not another Human Comedy; more the tragedy of scrupulous People and institutions that literally walk over corpses, destroy lives in other ways and drive people into a corner in order to assert their own interests. Exciting also and especially because it is not about a happy ending, the victory of an assumed eternal good.
