While a first volume of the catalogue is now fished I started a second volume … will take some time, not least as the comments on the paintings will be mainly concerned with reflections on style – mind: primarily personal reflections, which means not least that these are not based on expert knowledge. There is never enough of expert knowledge, though that expert knowledge easily forgets: arts is a matter of enjoying what we see and do: be it as “oure joy” or as matter of reflection.
An exciting challenge as well as at the moment while writing this, some building work is going on: preparing a space for the exhibitions and inviting artists to use it for their work. It will be mainly a space for those who do not have a professional training in arts — their work goes back on “learning by enjoyment”: enjoying to explore techniques, enjoying to explore ways of expressing moods and thoughts etc. … and with all this enjoying to explore themselves.
On the 11th of April the first exhibition will be opened in the new rooms — starting a new phase, with many ideas.
